Who we are!

Yoga- we can do yoga to improve ours lives. Physically,  emotionally and mentally, trough meditation, pranayama (breath  work) and asana (yoga poses). yoga works to unite our body and  mind through the breath which is our greatest toll in energizing,  conditioning, grounding, balancing and calming our bodies. I  accidentally came back to yoga when my children were young and I  was exhausted...I experienced the benefits of yoga immediately. I  enrolled in a "yoga treacher training" facilitated by SOYA (South  Okanagan Yoga Association). I found the learning fascinating, the  readings and assignments taught me more about anatomy and    physiology, I learned about ancient yoga practices, techniques and  teaching skills all of which I believed I would use one day to benefit  more than just myself. As a result, I have been teaching in 100 Mile  House, B.C. for the past 5 years. I have attended retreats,  conferences and continuing education classes that have allowed me  to follow through incorporating new skills and have helped me to  maintain diversity within weekly classes.
