BOOT-CAMP


An exercise class that targets all areas of fitness including the mental grit!

Involves an almost endless variety of body segments being tested and pushed in the form of dynamic and static exercises. Exercise methods: Isolations, Pylometrics, Resistance, Speed and Agility.


This fitness class is done outside and located in Centennial Park, 100 Mile House, B.C. "Rain or Shine"

45-60 minute class consisting of a warm-up, stretching, pre-workout which precedes the workout and then later ending with a nice 10 minute cool-down :)


Scheduled Class Time: Mon/Wed 6-7:00 a.m. @ Focused Fitness & Wednesday 5:30-6:30 p.m. (meeting in Centennial Park)

Seasonal: May 1st-Oct 31st

TRX Suspension Training


The newest method of body-weight training for all fitness levels with progressions for every exercise. This fitness class builds strength, balance, flexibility and burns fat. You control how easy or hard you want to push yourself. Whether you are a professional athlete or just want to get back into shape, the TRX "will" help you reach your fitness goals!


The Suspension training unit we use is made out of strapping that can hold over 300 lbs. This unit was invited my the military in the field of duty that could not bring equipment with them;therefore, inventing this unit out of parachute strapping, later becoming a piece of exercise equipment used worldwide.


In each class there is/are 9 exercises carried out, each will be completed and broken down into a superset method of 3 exercises for each round with 45-60 seconds of cardio bouts after each superset. This class goes for a total duration of 45-50 minutes.

MOVE 2 IMPROVE


Fitness class designed for individuals just starting out or looking to get back into the lifestyle of fitness and have contemplated it for quite some time now. This class starts off with a 20-25 minute walk outside or on our cardio machines within the gym (weather dependent); later carrying out 6 exercises targeting all  body segments in a superset fashion of 3 exercises per superset. (Outside/Inside)


Scheduled Class Time: Mon/Wed 4-5:00 p.m.... minimum 3 clients needed @ Focused Fitness $15.00 dropin or $85.00/month




TABATA


Looking for something to really test your limitations? Well Tabata is it! "High-Intensity-Interval-Training" (HIIT)

This is not a "pace yourself" type exercise class, it's a "push yourself" to the MAX workout where you throw everything you have into your workout whether its all physical and/or mental, LET IT OUT!

Class consists of 9 exercises done in circuit style......each exercise is done with 100% maximal effort (Strength and Speed = POWER!) for 20 seconds with 10 seconds rest in between exercises for 5 rounds totalling 22.5 minutes, YES! This is a very short workout, but it is intense! Exercises always differ!


Scheduled Class Time: Tuesday/Thursday 5:30-6:00 p.m. @ Focused Fitness

EVER-LAST CIRCUIT


Solid class with "solid results!"

This circuit class starts with a 2-3 kilometre jog/run to get the cardio aspect of exercise to help the healthy heart preceding the 9 exercise circuit of 3 supersets primarily consisting of strength based exercises in the gym to help build lean muscle mass to help burn your body's never forgiving fat-mass. Well-designed class to target all the areas of the body that you want to see the "good" gains and rid the "bad" ones that are normally contributed to bad diet and inactivity.

Body-Fit 


Body training to the "core", after this class one will experience a 2-3 day effect of body soreness due to the fact that the core is exhausted through this class, you just might not be able to do a sit-up after. There is a combination of upper and lower strengthening as well in this fitness class..... confirm you spot as we only can accommodate 7 people for this class until we expand the business :)

Kickboxing

Unleashing you inner "Rocky or GSP" through a variety of offensive and defensive techniques learning the basics and advanced way of moving your body in such a way to maintain technique and improve balance along with coordination. We aren't here to just teach you how to strike and defend yourself properly, but learning and improving your body's overall proprioception (body's awareness in movement/space). This class is designed to target all matters of fitness which include: Cardiorespiratory/Muscular Endurance/Muscular Strength and Power! We guarantee for fitness goals through this class with the right diet regimen.

Yoga "Strength Thru Flow"

​We can do yoga to improve our lives. Physically, emotionally and mentally, through meditation, pranayma (breath work) and asana (yoga poses). Yoga works to unite our body and mind through the breath which is our greatest tool in energizing, conditioning, grounding, balancing and calming our bodies.
